What a run by our local basketball teams! To start off, Northern State was one of two teams in the NSIC that had both its men’s and women’s team selected to the NCAA Central Region Tournament. At the high school level, Aberdeen Central qualified both of its teams for the state AA tournament, as did the Roncalli boys in A. It’s great to see such success locally and Aberdeen represented so well at the state level. Be sure to stop by the Barnett Center starting tomorrow for the boy's state B tournament. TIP OF THE WEEK
This week’s tip from service manager, Jeff Schick has to do with checking your wiper blades.
Cold winter months are hard on wiper blades. They lose their elasticity in the cold and have a tendency to break. They can also become frozen on the windshield itself, causing them to tear when clearing the windshield.
Checking them is a very simple, yet crucial process. It can be done by simply lifting them off the windshield and rubbing your hand under them from one end to the other. If any nicks of tears are felt, the wipers should be changed.
As a general rule, wipers should be checked every oil change and replaced every spring and fall.
